Provides a broad range of programs and services that support individuals, including children and adults, with special needs and their families.  Offers assessment that can aid in early identification/intervention, including testing for learning disabilities and help in developing behavior management plans. Available services include counseling, mental health services, parent support services, care/case management, advocacy, assistance in obtaining financial resources and benefits and info/referral.  Residential and Support Services include Alternative Living Units (ALUs) which provide supervised housing services to adults with developmental disabilities and Community Supported Living Services (CSLA) to help individuals with disabilities who are living independently in the community. Employment assistance and job coaching are also available and JCS is a designated DORS provider.  Holds a monthly pro bono legal clinic providing consultation and legal resources for low income members of the Jewish community. JCS, a comprehensive non-profit human services agency, is one of THE ASSOCIATED agencies partnering in the BJAA.
